Schuetze Recreation Center

When is the benefit being held?
March 12th, 2011 from 2-6pm
About the Benefit
On average there are 6,000 liver transplants performed each year in
the United States, and there are an additional 16,000 people awaiting
liver transplants.
On March 12, 2011 a benefit will be held for Brian Dunwiddie, a local
man awaiting liver transplantation. Stricken with liver disease and
requiring multiple hospitalizations over the past six months has been
extremely challenging – spiritually, emotionally, and financially – for
this loving husband and devoted father of four daughters. Unfortunately
the hope of life by way of a new liver also brings fears of mounting
debt and concerns about the ability to simply keep food on the table.
We hope that the “Believe in Brian” benefit, held from 2-6pm on March 12
at the Schuetze Recreation Center (1120 Baxter Street, Waukesha WI),
will raise much needed funds to help Brian and his family, while also
raising awareness of the great need for organ donations.
